Evaluation Q7

Q7. Before this music magazine I had created a college magazine as a preliminary task, so this meant we had to produce a front cover and contents page. This task was mostly set to help get used to and familiarised with Photoshop and Quark. I haven’t previously used any of these programmes before so it was a whole new experience to use them. I used a colour scheme of pink, blue, white and black and then white and black for my contents page but it was quite a varied colour scheme which doesn’t make it look professional. They are also very plain and all in similar front and sizes so do not look very interesting. Out of the two I probably prefer the contents page as I have a few pictures but still very boring. In comparison to my music magazine is a lot more professional looking and eye catching as I knew and had developed skills on how to work the programmes. So the progress from each magazine I have learned a lot about each programmes and now have the ability use them. So overall I am happy with my progress and develop for the outcome.
